| What is Michigan Health Care Jobs? Michigan Health Care Jobs, more commonly known as MiHCJ, is Michigan’s only state specific website that connects Medical Technologists, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapist Assistants, Radiological Technicians/Radiographers, Respiratory Therapists and Surgical Technologists with healthcare employers and communities. MiHCJ, launched in 2007, is a program of the Michigan Health Council (MHC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which was created by the Michigan State Medical Society, the Michigan Health & Hospital Association and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. For over 60 years, the MHC’s mission has been to provide better access to health care services throughout the state by promoting current health workforce and the promotion of future health care professionals. How does MiHCJ work with Health care Employers? MiHCJ provides Michigan health care employers (health systems, individual hospitals, long term care, home health care, hospice, group practices, physical therapy facilities, pharmacies, etc…) the opportunity to become a MiHCJ member employer and gain the ability to post unlimited jobs and search the database of health care professionals that have expressed an interest in Michigan.
