About Us
What is Michigan Healthcare Jobs – MiHCJ?
Michigan Healthcare Jobs is the only state specific website that connects healthcare professionals with Michigan’s healthcare employers in communities located in all regions of the state.
MiHCJ, launched in 2007 as a program of the Michigan Health Council (MHC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which was created by the Michigan State Medical Society, the Michigan Health & Hospital Association and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
How does MiHCJ work?
Individuals with training, certification or licensure to work in various healthcare careers and are seeking a job in Michigan are encouraged to register on the MiHCJ site for free by clicking on “Find a Job”. Once registered, candidates will match with the jobs that are posted by Michigan employers. Candidates can indicate that they prefer to be private which allows them to conduct a confidential job search or public, which means that employers will be able to view their registration information and contact them directly. Email notifications are sent to both Candidates and Employers each time there is a new match. Candidates can upload their resume/CV, and are encouraged to return to the site frequently to view new jobs and/or update their registration information. Students are allowed to register on the site, but are encouraged to remain private until such time as they are prepared to accept employment in the field of their training.

MiHCJ provides Michigan health care employers (health systems, individual hospitals, long term care, home health care, hospice, group practices, physical therapy facilities, pharmacies, etc…) the opportunity to become a MiHCJ member employer and gain the ability to post unlimited jobs and search the database of health care professionals that have expressed an interest in Michigan. Affordable membership rates are available to meet your organization’s recruiting needs. MiHCJ does not permit access to view the jobs that are posted on the site by anyone other than registered candidates. How is MiHCJ funded?
MiHCJ is a self-sustaining program of the Michigan Health Council, supported by its member employers – health care organizations throughout the Great Lakes State! There is never a charge to the job seeker.
